I am really confused about why webdings is an acceptable font on any word program or blog set up. I mean, the only time I have ever used it was when I was in high school and thought it would be hilarious and possibly make me a look a little cool. (it didn't.) So seriously? What gives? What gives??

OK, now I feel a little better. So today, I'm sharing what I read this morning.

As a result, almost any profession of faith is affirmed as genuine - even from those whose lives manifest no signs of true fruit (e.g., Luke 6:43-44). For many, no one's faith is to be questioned. Meanwhile, key New Testament passages regarding the danger of false faith (e.g., James 2:14-26) and the need for self-examination (e.g., 2 Cor. 13:5) go unheeded."

I mean... wow.... I read this excerpt this morning and read the passages mentioned and fell on my face before God saying, "Jesus! Have mercy on me!!! Let my faith be genuine! What kind of fruit do you see Lord?" I truly want to be one of those to whom it is said, "Well done my good and faithful servant." But I see in my own life all the u-turns and detours I've taken. When will I grow up??

I think I'll let the Holy Spirit answer these questions for me.

Yes, I have lots of somethings to think about it. I wonder, can someone seriously be so addicted to the library? I visit two local public libraries and my church library. I don't know how many books I have checked out right now but I would say that it's over 20. I mean, who visits three libraries?!?!? Am I the only one?

So there you have it. My top 5. On top of the over 20 books all checked out. (And I'm hoping I can keep up with them) I'm also reading Fascinating Womanhood with a group of ladies at my church. This book I own and am currently unable to find. I still need to read 2 1/2 more chapters by Thursday which would be a breeze if I can find the book!

So... here it is 8:41am (est) and I've been up since 5:20am. I've got a 15 month old who is an eeaarrlllyyy riser. This is really nothing... lots of times it's 4-4:30. Anybody out there have any suggestions on how I could get more sleep through the night? Although I'm not a morning person, I would gladly appreciate a 7am wake up time.

So I am starting my very own blog. Right here, right now... while Noelle is quietly playing in the background. Somehow... this doesn't feel like a good mom thing to do :)

My reason for blogging? I have no idea. I really don't even know if I'll be able to keep up with it. But I couldn't resist it because I'm always so inspired by other's blogs. So, if nothing else... I'm hoping to connect a little more... maybe.
